Message from the Management
Coastal Leisure Ltd is a company that was founded in 1996 and is now managed and owned by Nic Hart. Nic has experience of managing companies at a senior level and intends to create an organisation that has the customer at the centre. A team of brokers led by Derek Vaughan-Smith help him to achieve this company objective.
Coastal Leisure Ltd. takes pride in having the ability to handle all of your marine needs from finding your ideal New or Used boat, to guiding you through the purchase procedure by providing information on Financing,
and once out the other side with your prefect boat we offer you further services from servicing to cleaning and general maintenance.
We are proud to represent Luhrs and Birchwood world-class powerboat manufacturer and two yacht builders Hunter (legend) and Finngulf.
We are currently located in centre of Southampton at the top of the Solent, the home of the UK's boating industry and leisure waters. We also have a large network of agents and dealers across the UK, Europe and US that can source and sell all types of Yachts both power and sail to suit all requirements. We participate within the established British Marine Federation brokerage network, agencies and professional service companies.

Find A Boat
We offer two methods to find you perfect match. You can search our new and used power and sailing boats through our brokerage or going hand-in-hand with our brokerage Service is our Find-A-Boat Service - if you have an exact requirement click here and utilising our extensive network of brokers and contacts we search for a boat for you.
Indeed if you have already found a nearly-perfect boat, let us know your exact requirements and we will try and improve on the offer you already have – you have everything to gain.
This is the area that is being developed continually; we have the franchise for Luhrs, Birchwood, Hunter (legend) and Finngulf Yachts. We are always looking for good quality vessels that can extend our range of craft available to our customers. Because of our believe in providing a great service we will offer boat handling training with every new vessel purchased.
If you look at our brokerage pages we often have demonstrator boats that are almost new and can be purchased at discounted prices.
In the event that you find a new or nearly new boat on our lists we will be pleased to consider making a part exchange on your existing boat.
Brokerage
This is the core traditional business. We take on used boats for resale to our clients that are sold by, our promotion at boat shows, our advertising in the national marine press, and by the careful promotion of this website and others, including Yachtworld.com, Marine Trader Media, The Yacht Market, Forum boats, Boats and Outboards, and Boat Finder .
We would like to be regarded by our customer base as having for sale a complete range of vessels. Power and Sail, from £5000 to over £1,000,000. We would like to offers a complete service to our customers and we can assist people to get into their first boat and progress with them as they advance.
Coastal Leisure have access to moorings all over the UK. We currently own literally hundreds of berths and rent them to our clients. See our Berthing/moorings section for more information and prices of Southampton berths.

Finance
Before you can consider a new or used boat you may have to consider where the money is coming from. Let us assist you in locating the correct Marine Finance for you. Coastal Leisure deal with most of the major finance houses (Lombard, Barclays, Bank of Scotland) and also some of the smaller ones - chances are that we will be able to find a financial package that will allow you to get on to the water!
Charter
Since 1996 Coastal Leisure has been known for its ability to provide a perfect boat for that special occasion - whether it be for Company Events, Birthdays, Weddings, or Anniversaries, we can provide the right boat for that memorable occasion.

To secure the dates a fifty percent payment is required one month before and the remainder to be paid before the day of departure.
For large parties of 25 or more prices start at around £50 per person, for smaller parties, we can arrange special events on the day of your choice, from £100 to £300 per person that would include trips to anywhere in the Solent Waters, together with a waitress served meal of your choice to make that special occasion even more special.
Boat Management
Boat management is a service that we can offer to people that moor their boats in the Southampton Area.
For busy people that just would like to enjoy their boat i.e. turn up and go, we will look after your boat and carry our any works to only your instruction and ensure that any maintenance is carried out to you satisfaction.
This can involve anything from a simple lift, clean and anti foul to a complete overhaul - just call and tell us what you would like us to do for you?
Maintenance
Similar to the boat management Coastal Leisure would be pleased to quote you for regular cleaning and / or maintenance of your boat. We can do this on a planned basis or just when things need to be repaired.
Delivery
We can arrange for your boat to be collected and delivered from anywhere to anywhere - just ask and we will give you a quote. This includes Skippered and Shipped deliveries.
Training
Because of our experience and knowledge of the industry we have experienced instructors that can train you and your family to any level of competency. This can be on your own boat if you wish. From simple boat handling familiarisation to formal marine qualifications - just call.
